I am a certified instructor and a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training program, offered by the Muda Institute at Reichman University and the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University in the UK.
In my therapy work, I also integrate the ACT approach (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), which is grounded in mindfulness principles.
Mindfulness

Mindfulness, is a type of attentive attention or awareness that develops through training and practice.
The practice of mindfulness is training in paying attention gently, determinedly and consistently in a non-judgmental and curious way to what is happening in this moment, here and now.
Directing the attention to here and now It is attention to everything that happens in the senses, body sensations, thoughts and feelings.
From studies On mindfulness it appears that practicing mindfulness leads to changes at the level of the brain and cognition: improvement in attention and concentration, executive functions, regulation and self-management, increases empathy and creative thinking and also increases self-awareness.
